Lama Karma Drodhul recently went to Woodland Hill Montessori School in Rensselaer NY, to teach at the children’s school.
There were 160 students, who turned out to be too young to teach, so Lama Karma told them the story of his own life and what it was like to grow up in Tibet.
He told them “You should love your classmates and animals, because they all want to be happy, and they don’t want to suffer.” Then he gave them all a hug as a blessing. As he said later, “They are too young to teach much, so hug was better for them!”
Afterwards Lama Karma said he had enjoyed the experience very much and had never done anything like it before.
